A frequent guest on national TV news programs, attorney Shari Olefson is author of Financial Fresh Start: Your Five-Step Plan for Adapting and Prospering in the New Economy. She is founder and director of The Carnegie Group, a Florida-based think tank. Previous books include Foreclosure Nation: Mortgaging the American Dream (Prometheus Books), which demystifies the real estate bubble and the subprime mortgage crises that followed.
