More than six decades after Allied soldiers liberated him from infamous WWII concentration camp Auschwitz, Pompano Beach resident Bernie Yeger is finally seeing a little justice.
That’s because, thanks to a Fort Lauderdale lawyer working without payment, the 84-year-old holocaust survivor has just been granted a monthly pension by the German government as part of reparations for wartime crimes against Jews.
